Samim Ahmadi holds a Bachelor's and Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Information Technology with a focus on AI.
His personal expertise lies in the standardization, certification, implementation, and conformity assessment of cybersecurity measures in accordance with European legislation (e.g., CRA, RED, DORA, AI Act, NIS2). He has many years of experience in consulting and project management in international environments. Samim Ahmadi holds internationally recognized positions, such as Vice-Chair of the European Standards Committee ETSI TC CYBER for cybersecurity. Through his work on this committee and the associated collaboration with the European Commission and other European standardization organizations, he has gained extensive understanding and experience in the application and implementation of recognized national, European, and international regulations and standards in the field of cybersecurity.
Samim Ahmadi has given numerous lectures at conferences on cybersecurity, AI, standardization and regulation, organizes some of these conferences and has published a large number of scientific papers.
